Welcome to Hooked on Waves, where marine science meets mindful design. Founded by marine biologist and designer Alexis Podskarbi, this brand was born from a love for ocean, creativity, and community.
What began as ocean-inspired crochet has grown into a conscious lifestyle blending dive and yoga wear, handmade crochet creations, and eco accessories designed to move with the tides.

Behind the Brand
Hey, I’m Alexis — the hands (and heart) behind Hooked on Waves.
I’m a marine scientist by day and a maker by passion. After years of studying the ocean and working in outreach, I created Hooked on Waves to merge my two worlds: ocean advocacy and creative expression.
Each design reflects a piece of that journey — a reminder that fashion can inspire awareness, art can drive action, and our connection to the sea runs deeper than style.
